FIRST HAIRCUT
Patience and care is taken with young boys getting their first haircut sitting in a special car barber chair. Babies getting their first haircut receive a branded keepsake with their first curl/locks in it.

MASTER BARBER AND FOUNDER
Our award winning Master Barber – David is well known as one of Derry’s best barbers and has a significant and loyal client base. In 2015 David was the Northern Ireland winner of Britain’s best wet shave competition. He has been crafting men’s hair for nearly quarter of a century now and has an enduring passion for his work. “No two heads are the same” he says “As a barber I enjoy being constantly challenged by changing styles and adapting them to suit different hair types, crowns, hairlines and growth patterns.” Most at home with his comb and seven inch barbering scissors, this old-school flat-top master is an unrivalled expert in his trade.
NIALL O’NEILL
BARBER
Niall O’Neill was ranked in 2014 with David as Northern Ireland’s best wet shave in the Britain’s Best Wet Shave Competition. He joined the team in 2013 – another prodigal Derry barber who returned from barbering in Australia. Niall has over a decade of experience in barbering and can shave like no man’s business. Gentle in manner with a mischievous twinkle in his eye – he also is David’s nephew, maintaining the provenance and pedigree of master barbers within the family. We are delighted he came back to the fold and part of our expanding team of barbering experts.
TIERNAN McMULLAN
BARBER
Tiernan McMullan is a dedicated perfectionist. A founding barber of The Derry Barber Company, he was one of the first barbers to be trained by David and is the first graduate of The Derry Barber Company’s apprenticeship programme. Tiernan has been barbering full time for thirteen years now. He is best on a one to one and will not rush for any man. Animated in conversations about sport, fitness and food, he has a extending customer base. “I left feeling like my head was a masterpiece” commented one of his customers. He also is David’s cousin – maintaining the long legacy of barbering tradition in David’s family.
